This study aimed to examine the effects of creativity thinking activity according to the types of feedback in WBI on the creativity of preschool children. The experiment was executed by dividing 223 children of full five year olds into nine groups. The experimental tool used were the WBI program based on metacognitive four operations thinking.
Based on the result and discussion of this study, the conclusions are as follows:
First, WBI program based on metacognitive four operations thinking is effective for the improvement of total score creativity and fluency, elaboration, flexibility, and originality which are important ingredients of creativity as much as the face to face instruction in classroom. But WBI program based on metacognitive four operations thinking is made use of more effectively for the improvement of creativity than the face to face instruction in classroom.
Second, giving feedback is always effective for the improvement of total score creativity and fluency which is one of important ingredients of creativity. But the effects of feedback on the improvement of elaboration, flexibility, and originality which are ingredients of creativity depend upon context. The feedback giving praise and information at the same time is effective for the improvement of elaboration, but not for the improvement of flexibility.
Third, in WBI the feedback giving praise and information at the same time is more effective, but in the face to face instruction the feedback giving praise is more effective.
