Elementary science textbook used in Knee, the USA and Japan are analyzed in the aspects of concept, process of science and STS (the science, technology and society). Concepts are analyzed by concept maps. The STS is described by the number of textbook pages which are written about the STS. The results are (1) The points of concept maps of the United states are higher than Japan or Korea. (2) Biology area indicates the highest concept map points among other. (3) Observing objects and events is emphasized stongly in three countries. (4) Everyday life-related contents in the STS are emphasized strongly in three countries.
