The purpving provided a motivation to the students so that they could anticipate a whole new environment an」ose of the study is to analyze the introduction stage of the practicum through the reality that student participants face. The data was collected through in-depth interviews. Valuable data was gathered particularly through in-depth interviews with seven students who participated in the practicum. The data analysis method was used inductive categorical analysis for the in-depth interviews. The study results can be summarized as follows: The practicum is characterized by passive participation and superficial management. In spite of the introduction stage of the practicum had role, the students only regarded it as a process they had to go through to get grades, and assumed a reckless attitude. Unfortunately, this study dealt with the introduction stage quite superficially.
