    This study aims at identifying the importance of and necessity for instruction in the Christian world view for parents by examining understanding of the Christian world view among Christian parents and investigating the effect of instruction in the Christian world view for them on their world view.
    For this purpose, the following questions were set up.
    1. How do Christian parents perceive the Christian view of world?
    1.1. How do Christian parents perceive the Christian world view?
    1.2. How do Christian parents perceive the Christian world view according to years of being a Christian?
    1.3. How do Christian parents perceive the Christian world view according to educational attainment?
    2. How does instruction for parents based on the Christian world view affect their perceptions of the Christian world view?
    2.1. Does instruction for parents affect their Christian view of world?
    2.2. How different are parents' perceptions of the world view according to years of being a Christian after receiving the instruction?
    2.3. How different are parents' perceptions of the world view according to educational attainment after receiving the instruction?
    The subjects of this study were 52 parents with young children from age 1 to 5 in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. As a research tool, three questionnaires on the Christian world view-creation-, corruption-, and restriction-questionnaires- used in a previous study by Han Gyeong-hui (2002) was employed by modifying proper for this study and complementing after being validated by related experts, For the collected data in this study, frequency analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA were conducted depending on research questions.
    The results of this study are as below.
    First, as a result of examining perceptions of the Christian world view among Christian parents, it was revealed that they had not established a right Christian view of world.
    Second, as a result of examining perceptions of the Christian world view among Christian parents according to years of being a Christian, it was revealed that parents who had been a Christian for from 1 day to 5 years showed the average score, 62, while parents who had been a Christian for over 16 years showed the average score, 69, indicating that the more years of being a Christian, the more Christian awareness of the world view they showed.Third, as a result of examining awareness of the Christian world view among Christian parents according to educational attainment, it was revealed that in terms of the average score, parents graduated high schools and colleges showed 66 and 70 points respectively indicating that the more educational attainment, the more they have Christian perceptions.
    Fourth, as a result of examining the effect of instruction based on the Christian world view on parents' perceptions of the Christian world view, it was revealed that it affects their perceptions showing the average scores-0.68 and 0.87 (p<.001).
    Fifth, as a result of examining differences in perceptions among parents who received instruction based on the Christian world view according to years of being a Christian, it was revealed that parents with from 1 day to 5 years of being a Christian showed the average scores from 62 to 90, and parents with over 16 years of being a Christian showed the average scores from 69 to 88, indicating that the less years of being a Christian, the more they are affected by instruction.
    Sixth, as a result of examining differences in perceptions among parents who received instruction based on the Christian world view according to educational attainment, it was revealed that parents graduated high schools showed the average scores from 66 to 90 and parents graduated colleges showed the average scores from 70 to 86, indicating the larger effect of instruction on parents with high school graduation.
