경기도 정수장에 적합한 고도정수처리공정 도입 방안 = A Study on the implementation of advanced water treatment for Kyonggi do

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Based on statistics, our water supply had been grown quantitatively for last 50years. However, due to the lack of realistic and effective policies, and also of technical development to systematically protect surface water resources, their quality is going from bad to worse without exception. As a result, we need to find better and effective way to provide safe drinking water. Water supply policies that had primarily focused on increasing the quantity provided has gone through dramatic changes and it came to a point where improving water quality is the main goal. Here, the problems, such as the unification of the advanced processes mainly consisted of ozonation and activated carbon, the inefficient removal of ammonia and aluminium, lack of the mind to develop water treatment techniques due to increasing dependency on multi-regional water supply systems, and the shortage of compatible advanced water treatments for small water supply plants, are discussed as well as the implementation of advanced water treatment techniques for the water treatment plants in Kyonggi-do.
