한국무용 공연예술시장 확대를 위한 한국문화원형의 활용 방안

Currently, a variety of culture in the world is sharing·developing at a rapid rate, this phenomenon can certainly be known in 'Korean Wave' in the world. 'Korean Wave' has demonstrated that Korean culture is watched by the world, as a result, Korea is growing rapidly with the title of a cultural power. In this era, Korea culture's original form has become the foundation to set up in the world. Due to characteristics such as uniqueness, traditionality, diversity etc cultural original form has, they have had a significant effect on Korea's economic, industrial development by inducing the curiosity and interest of people who are living in a different culture area.
However, the development of Korean dance that can be called unique culture among them has been very slow. This is because the traditional dance is taken easy and Korean things are taken for granted naturally by being accustomed to accepting Western culture. In the situation that performing arts are developing, easy going response attitude of employees who do Korean dance has made even Korean people ignore it.
To sum the situation up, the most appropriate solution at this moment was considered to take advantage of Korea culture's original form which has universality and diversity, uniqueness collectively and this researcher investigated Korea culture's original form. In addition, this is expected to be the cornerstone as the preceding data through the ultimate goal to expand the performing arts market of Korean dance in future.
This study presented the way to use Korea culture's original form as a measure by expecting to expand the performing arts market of Korean dance. Measures that can be used as a practical approach were examined in terms of performance planners by recognizing that Korea culture's original form was worth in current performing arts market as a material of the dance performance. Based on the results, Ryu dance company planned 'Leave the trail' for 11th anniversary concert, suggested the direction to apply them through substantial performance planning process and verified them by writing the performance proposal that was empirical data.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look for ways to utilize Korea culture's original form and to provide the direction to apply it to expand the performing arts market of Korean dance. To achieve the ultimate goal of 'Expansion of the performing arts market of Korean dance' in future, in-depth research and study through trial and error of the measures are required, which is the limit. So, the way of using and activating it in other aspects should be made consistently.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 세계의 다양한 문화는 빠른 속도로 공유·발전하고 있으며, 이러한 현상은 세계 속의 ‘한류열풍’에서도 확실히 알 수 있다. ‘한류열풍’은 우리문화가 세계 속에서 주목받고 있음을 증명하였고, 그로 인해 우리나라는 문화강대국이라는 칭호와 함께 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있다. 이러한 조류 속에서 한국의 문화원형은 세계 속에 한국이 올라설 수 있는 기반이 되었다. 문화원형이 가지는 고유성, 전통성, 다양성과 같은 특징들로 인하여 다른 문화 속에서 살고 있는 세계인의 궁금증과 흥미를 유발시켜 결과적으로 우리나라의 경제적, 산업적 발전에도 큰 영향을 미쳤다.
하지만 그 속에서도 우리나라 고유문화라 할 수 있는 한국무용의 발전은 매우 더디게 진행되고 있다. 이는 전통무용이라는 안이한 생각과 더불어 아직까지도 서양문화수용에 익숙해져 우리 것을 너무도 자연스럽게 당연시 하는 것에서 비롯되었다고 볼 수 있다. 공연예술이 발전해 가는 현 상황에 한국무용을 하는 종사자들의 안이한 대응 태도가 우리나라 사람들까지도 외면해 버리는 상황을 초래하였다.
지금까지 상황들을 종합해 보았을 때, 현시점에서 가장 적절한 해결 방안으로 보편성과 다양성, 고유성이 총체적으로 내포되어있는 문화원형을 활용 하는 것이라 사료되어 한국의 문화원형을 중심으로 연구하였다. 또한 이것은 앞으로 한국무용 공연예술시장의 확대를 위한 궁극적 목표를 통해 선행 자료로써 초석이 되기를 기대한다.
본 연구는 한국무용 공연예술시장의 확대를 기대하여 그 방안으로 한국문화원형의 활용방안을 제시하였다. 이 연구는 한국문화원형이 현재 공연예술시장에서 무용공연의 소재로써 충분한 가치가 있음을 인지하여 공연기획자의 측면에서 실무적 접근방법으로 활용할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. 이 연구결과를 토대로 류무용단 11주년 기념공연 ‘흔적을 남기다’를 기획해 실질적 공연기획과정을 통하여 적용방향을 제시하고, 실증적 연구 자료인 공연기획서를 작성함으로써 본 연구결과를 입증하였다.
따라서 본 논문은 한국무용 공연예술시장의 확대를 위하여 한국문화원형의 활용방안을 모색하고, 적용방향을 제시하는 것 까지가 연구의 목표이다. 향후 ‘한국무용 공연예술시장 확대’라는 궁극적 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 앞으로 활용 방안의 시행착오를 통한 심도 있는 조사, 연구가 요구되며, 이 논문의 한계점이라 하겠다. 이에 또 다른 측면의 활용방안 또는 활성화방안에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.
