도교중국화의 역사적 함의와 실제 : 「中国道教协会章程」과 「道教五年工作规划纲要(2019-2023)」를 중심으로 = Historical Significance and Practice of Taoist Sinicization : Focusing on 「Taoist association of China Charter」 and 「The Five-year Plan of Sinicization of Taoism(2019-2023)」

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 「中国道教协会章程」과 「道教五年工作规划纲要(2019-2023)」를 통해 도교중국화의 구체적인 양상을 조명하기로 한다. 도교의 중국화에 대한 주요한 정책 방안의 구체적인 내용을 검토하고 이러한 정책이 실제 도교 교단을 중심으로 궁관 등에서 어느 정도로 관철되고 있는지 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 특히 도교는 중국의 토착종교로서 중국정부가 인정하는 5대종교 중에서 다른 종교들과는 현격한 입장의 차이가 있다. 중화인민공화민국 건립 이후 정부의 종교정책에 따라 가장 큰 타격을 입은 도교는 실상 교단의 조직적 체계와 종교적 위상이 다른 종교 단체에 비하여 취약하다. 그럼으로 도교 중국화 과정에서 궁관의 복구와 교단의 활성화, 교리의 개발과 인재 양성, 문화사업과 해외교류를 통한 도교의 위상을 끌어 올리는 것이 시급한 과제이다. 그럼 점에서 도교중국화 과정을 통한 도교 교단의 자율성 회복은 도교가 대중적 신앙으로 부활하는 갈림길에 서 있다고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, the specific aspects of Taoist Sinicization will be highlighted through 「Taoist association of China Charter」 and 「The Five-year Plan of Sinicization of Taoism(2019-2023)」. The purpose of this study is to examine the specific contents of the main policy plans for Chinese Taoism and to see how these policies are being implemented in the palace. In particular, Taoism is indigenous to China, and among the five major religions recognized by the Chinese government, there is a significant difference from other religions. Taoism, the worst hit by China s religious policy, is actually more vulnerable than other religious groups that differ in their organizational structure and religious status. Therefore, in the process of Chinese Taoism, it is urgent to raise the status of Taoism through restoration of palaces, revitalization of denominations, development of doctrines and development of talents, cultural projects and overseas exchanges. In that sense, Taoist Chinese painting is at a crossroads where Taoism is revived by popular faith.
