초등학교 시 교재 선정 기준 탐색 = Exploring The Bases of Selecting Poetry Teaching Materials in Elementary School

This study is an essay for making bases of selecting poetries for elementary school students prepared to search the principle of evaluating literary characteristics of poetries as art, how to select and evaluate poetries for elementary students, not adults. Moreover, on the basis of those theories, I tried to select poetries through concrete work with priority given to my experience of teaching poetries and the response of children to poetries. First of all, it certifies the theory that the evaluation basis of poetries as an art work should be the important principle and divides it into several details : originality showing new stage, pleasant sensation and catharsis releasing rigid consideration, mentality awakened as emotional excitement, poetry reception tendency/ability, literature education courses, and internal elements of the work. Then it shows the discussion on selecting good poetries which elementary kids should read through reading coherent work with the information about condition of poetry education in elementary school and the reaction of kids in the class which I experience.
