교통사고 유가족의 사별경험 = Bereavement Experiences of Family Members after the Death of Traffic Accident

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Traffic accident have increased and accidental death have devastating effects on the entire family system. This study aimed to gain an insight into lived bereavement experiences of family members who lost an accidental death. 8 participants were recruited through purposive sampling. By answering the question What is the essence of bereavement experience of family?, phenomenological approach by Colaizzi used for data analysis. The data collected through in-depth interviews. 4 main themes, 10 categories emerged from the participants` accounts: ``Nightmarish happening``, ``Perplexing feelings``, ``Ruminating sorrow``, ``Living on with those feelings``. These findings highlight the considerable trauma associated with family members` accidental death. Also This emphasize the need to develop appropriate family social work interventions to help bereaved family members.
