세대별 통일교육의 정서적 접근 방식 : 정서조절 방식을 중심으로 = Unification Consciousness and Unification Education by Generation : Emotion Regulation Approach

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to investigate the relation between emotional dimension of unification consciousness and conflicts among different generations. For this purpose, this study examines the experiences of unification and unification education by different generations. Based on the results, this study proposes the indirect emotional adjustment approach as an alternative approach to unification education. This approach is based on the understanding that intense emotions can play a decisive role in the perception and resolution of conflict. Reconciliation and harmony based on emotional change remain important tasks of unification education as well as solving practical conflicts that still linger between South and North Korea.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 최근 화해무드로 급변한 남북관계 가운데 지속적으로 지적되고 있는 세대별 통일의식의 차이와 갈등의 문제를 정서적 차원에서 조명하였다. 이를 위해 통일교육에 있어 직간접적인 정서조절 접근 방식에 대해 고찰하였다. 다루기 어려운 갈등 맥락에서 갈등 해결의 본질이 갈등 상대에 대한 강렬한 감정의 역할을 이해하고 핵심 정서를 조절하는 데 있으므로 이러한 방식의 통일교육적 접근이 필요하다. 이는 남북이 진정한 화합과 평화를 위해 풀어나가야 할 실질적인 갈등 문제의 해결뿐 아니라 정서적 측면에 기반한 화해 및 화합이 통일 교육의 중요한 시대적 과제로 남아있음을 시사한다.
