거룩한 독서를 위한 마태오 복음 주해

국문 초록 (Abstract)

마태오 복음서는 마르코 복음서와 예수 어록을 근간으로 마태오가 가진 고유 자료를 바탕으로 고대 전기의 유형으로 집필되었다. 고대 전기는 주인공이 시간이 흘러감에 따라 어떻게 성장하고 발전했는지를 입체적으로 구성하는 오늘날의 전기와는 달리, 주인공의 성격을 평면적으로 고정시킨 상태에서 말씀과 행적을 모아 주인공에 대한 정보를 보전하고 명성을 높여주는 데에 초점을 맞추었다.
갈릴래아에서 예루살렘으로 향해 가는 기본적인 지리적 구도는 공관 복음서가 모두 같다. 다만, 마태오 복음서에서는 예수님이 어른이 되어 세례자 요한에게 세례를 받기 이전의 이야기를 수록하고 있다는 점에서 다르다. 예수님이 다윗의 자손임을 강조하기 위해서 다윗의 족보를 제시하고, 다윗의 고향 베들레헴에서 태어나셨다는 사실을 전하고 있다. 또한 헤로데의 위협을 피해 이집트로 피신 갔다가 갈릴래아 지방의 나자렛에 정착하게 된 경위를 개략적으로 다루고 있다.
세례자 요한의 세례 보도로 시작되고 나서는 본격적으로 예수님의 말씀과 행적에 대해서 전하는데, 마태오 복음서는 모세 오경을 연상시키듯이 산상 설교(5-7장), 파견 설교(10장), 비유 설교(13장), 교회 설교(18장), 심판 설교(23-25장) 등 다섯 설교 모음집으로 집대성해 놓고 있다는 점이 독특하다. 아울러 설교 모음집 앞에는 예수님의 행적과 여러 사건들을 다루고, 설교를 마치고 나서는 설교를 마치는 맺음말을 항상 수록하는 구도로 되어 있다(7,28-29; 11,1; 13,53; 19,1; 26,1-2). '행적과 말씀과 맺음말'이라는 도식이 다섯 번에 걸쳐 반복되는 짜임새가 탄탄하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Gospel of Matthew was composed in genre of ancient biography and its main data are the Gospel of Mark and Q. Today's biography usually depicted multiple how the hero grew and developed his character in the course of times, while ancient biography focused on preserving the information and heightening the name of hero fixed character gathering the words and deeds.
Synoptic Gospels have the same geographical structure advanced from Galilee to Jerusalem. Especially, Matthew has the content of the prehistory of Jesus happened before his having baptized. He suggested the genealogy of David in order to focus Jesus is the descendant of David and reported Jesus was born in Bethlehem, David's hometown. Also he outlined that Jesus' family fled to Egypt from the threat of Herod the Great and returned to dwell in a town called Nazareth in the region of Galilee.
Beginning with the baptizement story of John, Matthew mainly reported the saying and deed of Jesus. However, it is peculiar to gather them into five discourses - the Sermon on the Mountain(Mt 5-7), the Missionary Discourse(Mt 10), the Parabolic Discourse(Mt 13), the Discourse on the Church(Mt 18) and the Discourse on End Times(Mt 23-25) - as similar as Pentateuch.
