The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a compound treatment of far infrared, thermotherapy and chiropractic on physiological variables of the elite athletes` recovery of fatigue To compare the central fatigue and lactate recovery rate over time (baseline, 8-week and 16-week), 30 top athletes of wrestling (n=15) and judo (n=15) were assigned into two groups such as treatment group and control group. To find out significant differences between two groups, time conditions (baseline, 8-week & 16-week) and interactions (2 groups × 3 time conditions), a mixed factorial was conducted and the results of this study were followed: 1. There were no statistically significant changes in the central fatigue. However, density of Dopamine and FFA were tending to be increased optimistically. 2. The significant increase in lactate recovery rate (p < .05) was recorded at 10minutes of recovery period. After 15 minutes of recovery period, differences were not significant as the data recorded at 10 minutes of recovery period. However, the recovery rate was still increased comparing to control group. That means there was a favorable response to the compound treatment for lactate recovery rate. Based on the results, the central fatigue and ability of fatigue recovery were improved by the compound treatment of far infrared, thermo therapy and chiropractic. Consequently, we assume that performing the compound treatment on athletes can improve athletic performance and expect better athletic performance.
