Vygotsky의 사회문화이론과 유아학급에서의 '이야기나누기' 활동 = Vygotsky's sociocultural theory and 'Thought-sharing' activity in early childhood classroom

국문 초록 (Abstract)

Vygotsky는 어린이와 주변 사람들간의 상호작용을 통한 학습은 인간의 표상적 체계인 언어라는 매개체를 통해서 일어난다고 본다. 본 논문은 그의 사회문화 이론에 접목하여 공적 문서에 진술된 '이야기나누기' 활동의 목적과 내용에서 드러난 '이야기나누기' 활동에 대한 인식과 이의 활용방안을 분석해봄으로써 교육적 시사점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다. 유아학급에서의 '이야기나누기' 활동에 대한 진술에는 '이야기나누기' 활동의 교육적 가치에 대한 확고한 인식과 기대가 내포되어 있었다. 또한 '이야기나누기' 활동은 다양한 교수자료 활용을 통한 풍부한 문해 활동이 될 수 있고 또한 체계적이면서도 유아들이 흥미를 고려한 발현적 전개를 실천하는 장으로 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 유아학급의 '이야기나누기' 활동과 이에 대한 교사들의 인식에 대한 심층적 연구가 필요함을 시사해준다.

Vygotsky postulated that children learn by interacting with people around them through language, and that this was representative of all learning.The goal of this paper is to determine the educational implications of Vygotsky´s sociocultural theory by analyzing the ´Thought-sharing´ activity which is defined in the public documents.The value and expectation for the educational value of ´Thought-sharing´ activity in early childhood classrooms are well embedded in the statements about ´Thought-sharing´ activity in the public document.First, ´Thought-sharing´ activity can be used as a rich literal activity through variety of teaching materials.Secondly, it can be used as a setting for practicing and emergent as well as systematic approach that takes consideration of children´s interests.In-depth study about ´Thought-sharing´ activity in early childhood classrooms and perception of teachers about ´Thought-sharing´ activity are needed.
