어머니의 소진이 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에서 부모그릿의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Parental Grit on the Relationship Between Maternal Burnout and Parenting Efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 소진이 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에서 양육에서의 장기목표를 향해 열정과 끈기를 일관되게 유지하는 성향인 부모그릿의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 K지역에 소재한 어린이집에 자녀를 재원 중인 어머니 263명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 Process Macro 4.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 차이검증, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 그리고 매개효과 분석을 수행하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 소진은 부모그릿 및 양육효능감과 유의미한 부적 상관을 보였으며, 부모그릿과 양육효능감은 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 부모소진은 양육효능감에 부정적인 영향을 미치며, 부모그릿은 이 관계에서 부분 매개역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 어머니 소진과 양육효능감 간의 관계를 설명하는 심리적 기제로서 부모그릿의 역할을 확인하였다는 점에서 이론 및 실제에 기여할 수 있으며, 어머니의 양육효능감을 증진하기 위한 중재 및 지원 방안 마련에 기초자료를 제공할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of parental grit in the relationship between parental burnout and parenting efficacy among mothers with young children. To this end, a survey was conducted with 263 mothers whose children were enrolled in daycare centers located in region K. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and Process Macro 4.0, including frequency analysis, group difference testing, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and mediation analysis. The major findings of the study were as follows. First, maternal burnout was significantly and negatively correlated with both parental grit and parenting efficacy, while parental grit showed a significant positive correlation with parenting efficacy. Second, maternal burnout negatively affected parenting efficacy, and parental grit was found to be partially mediating this relationship This study empirically verified the mediating role of parental grit as a psychological mechanism that explains the relationship between parental burnout and parenting efficacy. The findings suggest theoretical and practical implications and may serve as foundational data for developing intervention and support strategies to enhance the parenting efficacy of mothers with young children.
