국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 한국교회 역사와 사건 속에서 남은 김인서 목사의 신학적인 사고의 발전을 창조-구속사적인 하나님 이해를 통해 성찰한 것이다. 특히 거대담론이 아닌 작은 담론(김인서의 삶과 사상)을 통해 한국교회의 역사를 해석하고 분석한 것이다. 그의 글에 나타난 구속사적 창조이해는 특정한 문화와 민족적인 경계를 넘어 보다 보편적인 기독교의 모습을 정립하고 있으며, 한국교회 경험의 의미를 세계 다른 교회와의 관계성을 통해 찾고 있다. 그의 구원론은 그리스도의 구속 사역을 창조자 하나님의 사역에 비추어 성찰한 것이다. 이는 그가 그리스도론을 창조론과 분리하지 않고 상호보완적이고 통전적으로 이해하고 있기 때문이다. 당시 한국교회의 역사적인 상황과 신학적인 한계성에도 불구하고 그리스도의 구속사역을 전인류와 창조물을 포함하는 것으로 사고한 그의 시도는 의미가 있다. 또한 하나님의 이름이 어떻게 한국인들의 심성에 번역되었는가에 대한 그의 신학적이고 기호학적인 이해는 한국교회역사와 선교신학에 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 우리는 여기서 문화에 대한 그의 깊은 사고와 통찰을 엿볼 수 있다. 특히, 복음의 보편성에 대한 강조와 구속사적인 창조관을 통한 한국교회역사 이해, 이를 통한 에큐메니칼적 교회 본질에 대한 강조, 성육신적인 하나님의 사역 모델을 통한 한국교회역사와 문화에 대한 성찰은 21세기 한국교회와 선교에 큰 의미를 지닌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examines the development of Inseo Kim’s theological thoughts through the significant historical events in Korean history, particularly in relation with his understanding of God’s creative-redemptive work revealed in the Creation. It particularly focuses on his works that attempt to go beyond the national and cultural boundaries into the global and ecumenical Christian understanding in terms of God, the Creator, through the articulations of his own particular experiences as a Korean pastor and theologian, and to find significant meaning in relation with the world. Moreover, his soteriology, in particular, articulates the work of Christ in terms of God, the Creator, and God's will for the whole creation including humanity and everything in it; for him, the doctrine of salvation in Christ is not separated from the doctrine of creation, and mutually related. It also explores the significance of his ideas on God’s creative work and creation being developed into the theology of mission as a mode of God’s communication with the humanity, and explains how the name of God is translated into the Korean mind through the semiotic translation process. It also articulates the significant development of his understanding of the ecumenical nature of Christian gospel in the history of Christianity in Korea, and how the Church should be realized through the inter-cultural process based on the incarnation model of God, as revealed in God's Creative work in the event of world history.
