In this paper, I propose interactive statistics education solutions. The solution output consists of percentiles and p-values of normal distributions and t-distributions, 100(1-¥a)% confidence interval for the mean of the population, approximate 100(1-¥a)% confidence interval for proportions of the populatoin, one sample t-test, two samples t-test, paired samples t-test, scatter plot, correlation coefficient analysis, simple regression, polynomial regression and spline regression analysis via dynamic graphs.
All solutions are based on the programming language Java for self-study purpose by one to one interactive environments, Java Applet and Java Web Start are trying out statistical concepts by simulations and interative educations. Java Applet is a program written in the Java programming language that can be included in an HTML page much in the same way an image is included. When user uses a Java technology-enabled browser to view a page that contains an applet, the applet's code is transferred to user's system and executed by the browser's Java Virtual Machine. Java Web Start is an application-deployment technology that gives user the power to launch full-featured applications with a single click from user's Web browser. User can always download and launch statistics education solutions, such as scatter plot, correlation coefficient analysis, regression models, without going through complicated installation procedures. Also JavaScript and Visual Basic Script are provided auto installization and upgrade for the application.
