There has been a change of paradigm of plan, design, construction, and maintenance technology simultaneously with the word of “irregular shaped building”, “super-tall building”, and “smart” throughout the construction industry. As a result, BIM technology that makes it possible to integrate all information occurring to the process of construction has been leading this paradigm. In this respect, it has been required to change to BIM-based management systems that is able to extract the design plan whenever we want and able to effectively maintain super-tall building by integrating data by function, space and usage throughout the life cycle of the building. This study may conduct basic research for developing the super-tall building BIM model by utilizing the IDM(Information Delivery Manual)Template by BSK(BuildingSmart Korea) that bases on Technology documentation of the buildingSMART International. For this study, we search for BIM Technology and IDM, and define function of disaster prevention management of BIM-based maintenance system for super-tall building. This study draws the requirement information of the field related disaster prevention management by conducting IDM process. By conducting this study, we expect to help develop BIM-based maintenance system.
