9.12 지진 발생 후 지진방재대책 개선을 위한 경주지역 주민의식조사에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Consciousness Survey of Residents in Gyeong-Ju to Improve Earthquake Disaster Prevention Measures after the Occurrence of 9.12 Earthquake

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 2016년 9월 12일 경주지역에서 발생한 규모 5.8의 지진에 대해서 피해개요와 정부의 대응현황을 검토하였고 피해가 발생한 경주지역에 현장조사를 실시하여 피해 현황을 살펴보았다. 또한 피해를 입은 경주지역 주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 주민대응 현황, 문제점, 요구사항 등을 알아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 우리나라 주민에게 실질적으로 적용될 수있는 지진방재대책 개선방안을 검토하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주민들에게 신속하고 정확한 피해상황을 전파하기 위한 정보전달체계의 개선이 요구된다. 둘째, 주민들에게 지진에 대한 관심과 역량을 강화하기 위해 주민에 맞는 교육 및훈련을 실시해야 한다. 셋째, 지진 발생 시 주민들이 실질적으로 행동할 수 있는 주민행동요령, 매뉴얼 등이 활용될 수 있도록 주민들에게 배포되어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, the extent of damage caused by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake which occurred on September 12, 2016 in Gyeongju through the field investigation in Gyeongju first and the survey was conducted on the residents in Gyeongju suffering actual damage from the earthquake to identify the current situation, problems and requirements in order to present measures for improvement in future. Also, the needs for earthquake disaster prevention was reviewed and measures to prevent damage from an earthquake in our country were examined based on the finding. First, it is necessary to improve the information delivery system in order to deliver situation report to residents promptly and accurately. Second, it is necessary to carry out education and training fitting for residents in order to strengthen the interest and capability of residents regarding an earthquake. Third, Emergency action plan and manuals, which can be practically utilized in the case of earthquake, should be provided to local residents.
