In the first, although Tokki and Jara in Pansori novel 「Tokkijeon」 had different social position, they were in the same situation of the other in a feudal society. In the second, they left their native place to lead a better life. In the third, they showed dopey figure in the moving society, however later they utilized holding a dominant position of an immigrant in the relationship between a settler and an immigrant, and finally overcame a crisis. Viewed from three sides, they were very similar characters. But Tokki could seek an ontological change, while Jara could not. This results were caused by success or failure of introspection about self, the other and society since they experienced leaving home. After the experience in the palace of sea king, Tokki faced up to a contradiction of the feudal society and became an independent ego who could lead a new life. On the other hand after the experience on land and meeting Tokki, Jara remained in a passive ego who could not get out of the limit of the feudal society. I made certain that a direction of life depended upon how the ego realized the other and the world, and behaved properly.
