We have studied systematically the properties of the h11=2h11=2 bands in doubly-odd 116က126I.
The systematics for the absolute excitations of the bandhead, I = 10+, and for the level spacings
in the h11=2h11=2 bands are presented and compared with those of the 11/2က bands in the
neighboring odd-mass I. The signature splittings and inversions for the favored and the unfavored
states in the h11=2h11=2 bands are discussed within the framework of total Routhian surface
(TRS) and cranked shell model (CSM) calculations.
