언론의 소유구조가 분야별 보도자료 이용에 미치는 영향 연구 -지역신문을 중심으로- = A Study on the Effect of Ownership Pattern of the Press on Press Release Use by Each Sector in Local Newspaper

This study researched the difference of press release use by ownership Pattern of local newspapers; furthermore, considered difference of press release use by 3 sectors including politics, economy, and administration by ownership pattern, through content analysis. First, research was conducted on the difference of press release by ownership pattern. This study did a comparative analysis about frequency of publication, degree of contents reflection, the propensity to report, and the amount of coverage by 4 newspapers` press release being published in K region. In result, it showed differences in frequency of publication and degree of contents reflected by ownership pattern; however, it was shown that the propensity to report and amount of coverage had not differentiated. For ownership pattern and frequency of publication of press release by each sector, there was also meaningful difference in release by each sector, there was also meaningful difference in the case of politics and administration, but the economic sector shows no difference. The reason was due to the fact that the 4 newspapers broke the news of press release in the economic sector. The propensity to report showed that political sector had shown difference. It appears that the ownership pattern on the degree of contents reflection, the amount of coverage and the effect of interaction were meaningful.
