The purpose of this paper is to discover the implications of a marketing decision support model for a selected glutinous rice processing company through the application of KAMP 1.0 DSS software with actual marketing data.
Through the KAMP S/W which is based on nonlinear goal programming to the selected company, we can obtain optimal decisions to make it possible to achieve various goals at the same time.
As a result of the case study, it was possible to point out weak point of the company, at same time optimal marketing strategy has been constructed that meets business goals of the company.
In order to make it more valid and practical, the model should be considered as follows: the succeeding researches should come up as many as possible. As well as, it is strongly recommended the more decsion maker should be willing to introduce this sort of DSS solution into business planning.
