[연구의 목적 및 내용]
1. 쇼그렌 증후군 전국 단위 prospective inception cohort와 병인특이 동물모델시스템구축을 통한 통합적 데이터베이스 확보
2. 쇼그렌 증후군 연구자간의 국내외 네트워크 구축을 통한 기초 및 임상분야의 세계적 경쟁력 확보
3. 2012년 개정된 미국/유럽학회의 쇼그렌 증후군의 분류기준에 대한 국내 Validation
4. 병인물질의 확인과 진단 표지자 (3종 이상) 발굴
5. 신약후보물질 (3종 이상)의 발굴과 유효성 검증을 통한 전임상시험진입

1. 전국 12개 대학병원에서 500명의 환자를 등록한 prospective cohort를 확립하고 추적 관찰 시행
2. 쇼그렌 증후군 연구자간의 국내외 네트워크를 구축하여, 연구회 정식 등록 및 기초 및 임상 분야의 세계적 경쟁력을 확보
3. 2016년 개정된 미국/유럽 류마티스학회의 쇼그렌 증후군 분류기준에 대한 국내 validation 시행

1. To establish a nationwide prospective cohort of Sjogren's syndrome and animal models that reflect human Sjogren's syndrome.
2. To build an international network of Sjogren's syndrome researchers to increase competitive edge of the research center.
3. To validate the revised 2012 ACR/EULAR classification criteria of Sjogren's syndrome in Korean patients.
4. To identify biomarkers directly associated with pathogenesis of Sjogren's syndrome.
5. To discover novel therapeutic targets and perform preclinical research to determine the treatment efficacy.
