영유아 자녀를 둔 결혼이주여성의 온라인 건강정보 요구 분석 = Needs analysis in online health information of married immigrant women with infant and preschooler

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of online health information and information needs of married immigrant women with infant and preschooler, which is to identify their barriers and influencing factors in access and utilization of online health information. The subjects are 163 married immigrant women with a child under 6 years old and they have used mainly the internet or smartphone to obtain health information. However, they do not assess the quality of information carefully. In addition, the difficulty of information selection, poor Korean language skills, the difficulty of understanding medical jargon, and cultural differences are recognized as major barriers to access and use online health information. For married immigrant women, it is necessary to provide information considering language problems and cultural differences and to support information retrieval strategy and health literacy. Besides, online health information should be provided under considering the characteristics, which is different in information needs and use, such as age, economic level, child age, Korean language skills, supporter for parenting, and country of origin. Also, it should be confirmed problems of online health information contents and delivery methods because of the inconsistency between needs, ease of searching, and practical help. Based on these results, it's necessary to develop a strategy for reducing the barriers and improving the utilization ability of online health information to help multicultural families in caring for their children.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 영유아 자녀를 둔 결혼이주여성의 온라인 건강정보 이용 실태를 조사하고 정보 요구를 분석하여 건강정보 접근과 활용의 장애요인과 영향요인을 확인함으로써 실제적 도움이 되는 온라인 건강정보를 제공하고자 시행하였다. 결혼이주여성은 자녀양육을 위한 건강정보를 얻기 위해 인터넷이나 스마트폰을 가장 많이 이용하고 있으나 정보출처의 미확인, 비전문가로부터의 정보 획득 등 정보의 질 평가에 대한 고려가 부족하다. 또한 정보선택의 어려움과 미흡한 한국어능력, 어려운 전문용어, 모국문화와의 차이가 온라인 건강정보 접근과 활용의 주요 장애요인이었다.
결혼이주여성은 질병관리, 신체성장, 영양관리에서 높은 정보 요구를 보였으나 요구도와 찾기 쉬운 정보, 도움이 되는 정보가 일치하지 않아 건강정보의 내용과 전달방식에 대한 실제적 평가를 통해 원인을 구체적으로 확인할 필요가 있다. 또한 온라인 건강정보 이용정도와 요구도에 차이를 보인 연령, 가족풍요도, 자녀연령, 한국어능력, 양육지지자, 출신국가와 같은 특성을 고려하여 정보를 제공해야 한다. 이에 추후 다문화가족에게 자녀양육을 돕기 위한 온라인 건강정보 제공시 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 정보이용의 장애요인을 감소시키고 활용능력을 향상시키기 위한 전략마련이 필요하다.
