      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This study investigates(1) the degree of adolescents` attachment and monitoring by parent, teacher, familiar friend and community, (2) the influence of attachment and monitoring on adolescent`s self-control. Subjects are 2,433 adolescents, which are panal data by National Youth Policy Institute. Descriptive analysis, t-test, correlation analysis and multiple regression were conducted. Results are as follows. First, male is higher than female in teacher attachment while female is higher than male in parent attachment, familiar friend attachment, parent monitoring. And significant differences between male and female doesn`t appear in community attachment, community monitoring, and self-control. Second, self-control is elevated when parent attachment and parent monitoring increase in both male and female. And self-control is elevated when community monitoring in male and teacher attachment in female increase. The necessity for improvement of parent attachment, parent monitoring, teacher attachment and community monitoring is discussed.
