The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of educational welfare workers’ practical experiences of student-customized integrated support policies, in order to identify applicable practice processes and future directions in the school setting. To this end, the study investigated the subjective perceptions and experiences of six educational welfare workers currently participating in student-customized integrated support policies. The key results derived from this research are as follows. First, the relationship between the student-customized integrated support policies and the educational welfare priority support project was identified as a system restructured within the domain of economic and livelihood support, through the expansion and formalization of a student-centered customized case management framework. Second, the practice process was identified as “building student-customized integrated support policies based on the case management framework of the educational welfare priority support project”, and specific tasks emerged across each stage: the preparation stage, introduction stage, implementation stage, and transition stage. Third, the future direction was identified as “advancing with a professional identity as educational welfare workers”. Accordingly, this study is meaningful in that it provides foundational data for the establishment of a student-customized integrated support system of educational welfare workers.
