      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper seeks to find out how and why environmental problems lead into the conflicts between farmers and pastoralists. The study was conducted in Kilosa District in Morogoro Region. The findings indicated that scarcity of water is the most cause of frequent clashes, lack of enough green pastures, and, Lack of major social services in the areas located for pastoralists and land ownership respectively. It is recommended that the responsible authorities should supply services for cattle and human beings in all areas. The paper recommends alternative ways of using Guatemala grasses and other grasses which are drought resistant for animals.
