      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

      "Catholic Christianity as a Supranational Movement" is the assigned theme of this parer. This subject should be set forth in terms which enable dialogue with our Group's two companion papers, on Islam and on Marxism as Supranational Movements (Group Ⅳ- E)
      All three papers are integral to the major theme of ''Transformations of the Individual in Society," under Committee Ⅳ, whose four "Group topics Will focus on a comparison of East and West in relation to religion, philosophy, culture and the arts, health and healing," as well as "supranational movements and the worldwide trend toward modernization." (Draft Program, page 8; underlining added for emphasis.)¹
      The overarching subject of this International Conference, ''The Search for Absolute Values and the Creation of the New World,'' is approached under five themes(and five Committees); these derive from two fundamental areas of human experience:
      1) Applications of the exact and social sciences which are creating ''the New World''-economic development(North-South relations, Brandt Report, etc.), technology and "modernization" of societies-in transition and into the future (Committees Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ);
      2) Original sources and holistic bearers of ''Absolute Values" which transform the individual and community, culture and society-with emphasis on convergence between science and religion, spiritual dimensions, consciousness and ''older traditions of Eastern and Western thought." (Committees Ⅳ and Ⅴ)
