유아의 외로움과 부모 양육태도 및 부모 간 양육태도 일치도와의 관계 = The relationship between child’s loneliness, parents’rearing attitude and the consistency of parents’rearing attitude

This study aims to examine the tendency of child’s loneliness, parents’rearing attitude and the consistency of parents’ rearing attitude; to examine the relationships between child’s loneliness and parents’ rearing attitude, child’s loneliness and the consistency of parents’rearing attitude. The subjects of this study are 103 children who are 4 and 5 years old from three kindergartens located in Gyeong-gi, Incheon and Daegu, and their 103 pairs of mothers and fathers. The results of this study are as follows. First, the study was able to find that 4 and 5 year old children have some levels of feeling of loneliness. Also, both mothers and fathers tend to have affectional attitude rather than rejective attitude in child rearing. In addition, the average level of the consistency of parents’ rearing attitude was higher than normal level, and there was the highest level of consistency in the affectional-autonomous attitude. Second, there was significant negative relationship between child’s loneliness and mother’s affectional-autonomic attitude. On the other hand, there was no significant relationship between child’s loneliness and father’s rearing attitude. Also, there was no significant relationship between child’s loneliness and the consistency of parents’ rearing attitude.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 외로움과 부모 양육태도 및 부모 간 양육태도 일치도의 일반적 경향을 살펴보고, 유아의 외로움과 부모 양육태도 및 부모 간 양육태도 일치도와의 관계가 어떠한지 밝히고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 경기, 인천, 대구 지역에 위치한 사립 유치원 3곳에 재원 중인 만 4세 48명, 만 5세 55명 등 유아 총 103명과 그들의 어머니와 아버지 각각 103명을 대상으로 하였다. 유아의 외로움은 면담을 통해, 부모 양육태도는 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만 4, 5세 유아들은 외로움을 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모의 양육태도에 있어서 어머니와 아버지는 모두 자녀 양육에 있어서 거부적 태도보다 애정적 태도를 보이는 경향이 더 높았다. 부모 간 양육태도 일치도는 비교적 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 특히 애정적-자율적 태도 유형에서 일치도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 외로움은 어머니의 애정적-자율적 양육태도와 부적 상관이 나타났다. 반면 아버지 양육태도와 부모 간 양육태도 일치도와는 유의한 상관이 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과, 앞으로 유아의 외로움에 대한 지속적인 연구가 이루어져야 하고, 유아의 안정적 정서발달을 위해 어머니의 바람직한 양육태도와 그 역할이 중요함을 강조할 필요성을 시사한다.
