The purpose of this study was to develop a pre-parenthood education program for high school students and evaluate satisfaction of the program. Subjects included 2,957 high school students. The collected data were analyzed by using t - test and ANOVA. The major results of this study were as follows : First, the female high school students were more satisfied with the pre-parenthood education program than the male high school students. Second, the vocational high school students were more satisfied with the program than the academic high school students. Third, the students attending co-ed high school students were more satisfied with the pre-parenthood education program than the students attending female high schools or male high schools. In addition, the students attending female high school students are more satisfied with the pre-parenthood education program than students attending male high schools. Fourth, overall, there was not a significant difference in the satisfaction for the pre-parenthood education program according to the experience in making friends with the opposite sex. In the subarea of the satisfaction for the pre-parenthood education, however, the students with experiences in making friends with the opposite sex expressed more interest and usefulness for the pre-parenthood education than the students with no experiences in making friends with the opposite sex.
