This study analyzes the research trends of thesis on parents` involvement in early child education. This study reviews a total of 67 papers published during past ten years from various academic journals for early childhood education. This study establishes its classification criteria based on characteristics of the studies, and the data collected is analyzed and shown with the frequency and percentage. The results of this study suggests that there should be more variety in the subjects of research regarding parent involvement, and calls for longer-term research, use of more sophisticated research methodologies, and more in-depth analysis to gain better understanding of the efficacy of the studies. Furthermore, it is found that more laboratory research and correlation research are needed to secure the scientific evidence, as well as development of new measurement tools.
