교지 『徽文』의 오장환 ―발굴작을 중심으로 본 오장환 문학의 기원 = Oh, jang-whan of school magazine Hwimoon

Oh, jang-hwan's poem "Riverside suburb" was unearthed in school magazine 『Hwimun』 11. In addition, the short stories in this book "Their brother" was showing. Oh, jang-hwan in this book will release a total of five works. One work of poem and one work of fiction has been unearthed by the author. Oh, jang-hwan excavated works of literature, is the starting point of the Oh, jang-hwan. Oh, jang-hwan announced the debut of the poet "Mokyokgan" in 『Chosunmunhak』(the November, 1933). 『Hwimun』 10 and 11 was published in 1933. Ohjanghwan is the same year debut. 『Hwimun』 Oh, jang-hwan published in the poet's work here is that Oh, jang-hwan's authentic works. Work "Mokyokgan" and when the announcement published courtesy 『Hwimun』 11 a month is the interval time. Therefore, the school magazine published in 『Hwimun』 Oh, jang-hwan's five works here in the beginning of the literature is based not forced. 『Hwimun』 Oh, jang-hwan's poems and novels published in the practice of youth work is not. This feature works with Oh, jang-hwan's poetic works are unique. I have carefully reviewed the school magazine 『Hwimun』. Through this process, a novel "their brothers" have been unearthed. This novel is a detective story. This work took place between the twins the truth of the murder mystery novel technique is described as a short novel. Oh, jang-hwan's literary talent was confirmed. However, novel "their brothers" level of the finished work is not.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

교지 『휘문』 11호에서 오장환의 시 「郊外의 江邊」이 발굴되었다. 또한 『휘문』 11호에는 오장환의 단편 소설 「그들의 兄弟」가 실려 있다. 오장환은 교지 『휘문』에 총 5편의 작품을 발표한다. 필자에 의해 발굴된 것으로 시 1편과 소설 1편이 있다. 발굴된 오장환의 작품은 오장환 문학의 출발점이다. 오장환은 1933년 11월 『조선문학』에 「목욕간」을 발표하면서 문단에 시인으로 데뷔한다. 『휘문』 10호와 11호 두 권의 교지는 오장환의 등단 시기와 같은 년도인 1933년에 간행된다. 이러한 사실 때문에 『휘문』에 실린 오장환의 작품이 시인 오장환의 본격적인 작품이라고 여길 수 있게 되었다. 등단작 「목욕간」의 발표 시기와 『휘문』 11호의 발간 시기는 한 달 간격이다. 교지 『휘문』에 게재된 다섯 작품을 오장환 문학의 시초로 여길 수밖에 없는 근거가 마련된 것이다. 『휘문』에 실린 오장환의 작품은 청년 시절의 습작이 아니다. 오장환의 시가 지니는 특징의 맹아를 보유한 독보적인 수준의 작품이 교지 『휘문』에 게재된 작품이다. 『휘문』의 면밀한 검토를 통해, 발굴된 소설 「그들의 형제」를 확인하게 된 것은 매우 흥미로운 사실이다. 탐정소설이라는 장르 명칭을 달고 있는 이 작품은 쌍둥이 형제 사이에 벌어진 살인사건의 전말을 추리소설 기법으로 서술된 짧은 소설이다. 오장환의 문학적 재능을 확인할 수 있었으나, 소설 「그들의 형제」는 완성된 수준의 작품은 아니다.
