The purpose of this study is to analyze the loyalty of exhibitors about repeated exhibition participation through service quality, cognitive achievement, and satisfaction from exhibitors. Through verifying the fact that there is the relationship between cognitive quality and cognitive achievement in exhibitions, exhibitors could be constantly encouraged to participate in exhibitions.
In this study, both of the exhibitors' cognitive achievement and satisfaction are considered as exhibitors' achievement. Additionally, the essence of the research model is that service quality is concerned as a mediator of exhibitors' achievement to enhance the exhibitors' loyalty which is measured as a singular concept.
The data for this study had been collected from questionnaires given to exhibitors who participated in exhibitions, pursuing a particular objective such as sales and marketing achievement and 356 questionnaires were used among 600. The exhibitions surveyed in this study were joined by at least 50 exhibitors at COEX, aT Center, and KINTEX from June 4th 2007 to September 22nd 2008.
This study shows the following results. First, items related to whole operations of exhibition have become a factor of exhibition recognition, and items of exhibition workforce and ability of exhibition counselors have become a factor of quality of human operation, and exhibition facility and environment have become a factor of quality of exhibition facility. Secondly, exhibition recognition was found to be the most significant factor that influenced cognitive achievement of exhibitors, exhibition employee operation, and exhibition facility respectively. Thirdly, exhibitors' satisfaction simultaneously increased as exhibition recognition and the quality of employee operation was raised. However, exhibition facility did not affect exhibitors' satisfaction strongly. Fourthly, higher exhibition recognition, employee operation, and facility resulted in higher cognitive achievement and they were individually influenced in order to lead to exhibitor's loyalty. Fifthly, exhibition recognition is a factor to strongly mediate between exhibitor's cognitive achievement and exhibitors' loyalty.
In conclusion, this study proves that exhibitors' cognitive achievement and satisfaction were intimately related with the details of qualifying factors in exhibition. Moreover, it also supplies effective and efficient operational methods to strengthen promotional strategy, enhance quality of employee operation, facility, and environment in exhibitions. This study suggests a new method to measure exhibitor's satisfaction in exhibitions.
