탁구 경기 기록 분석에 관한 연구 = A Study of the Recording Analysis of the Table Tennis Game

The purpose of this study is to develope the analyzing tool of the table tennis game. On the Women's Doubles of Korea(hereafter KOR) and Democratic People's Republic of Korea (hereafter PRK), this study is to analyze the courses and techniques, examine the relevance with the result of the game by understanding related situations of the getting and losing score balls, and verified a efficiency of the analyzing tool of table tennis games.
To accomplish the purpose of this study, four players, two KOR and two PRK players for doubles, were selected as subjects of this study who took part in the Volkswagen Singapore Open Championship(in Singapore 2004.5.27~30) opened by International Table Tennis Federation(ITTF).
The research and application devices for this study are the sheet of the game recording analysis, VCR, Camcorder and TV. The surface of the table tennis table was divided into twelve sections and numbered them from one to twelve for developing the analyzing tool of the table tennis games. The sheet of the game recording analysis was made through the researching the documents and technical expert meeting. It also verified reliability and validity of the sheet with making a preliminary examination. The technique of frequency analysis was applied for data analysis used in this study.
Through these research methods and procedures, the following results were came out.
First, PRK players used the Pimple Rubber or Feint Rubber for the receive(the second ball). PRK players had the high rate of NO.10 course utilization with using forehand-cut by Kim, Hyang-mi(PRK) and forehand-flick by Kim, Hyun-hee.
They also had the high score rate after the third ball. In case of KOR players, there was high rate of NO.5 course utilization in the second ball. For the third ball, they used forehand-drive a lot, but after the third ball, there were the high losing score rate and mistakes in short.
Second, PRK players had high losing score rate when they hit the ball of Seok, Eun-mi(KOR), especially in push, In case of KOR players, there was no remarkable difference, however when Lee, Eun-sil(KOR) hit the Kim, Hyang-mi(PRK)'s ball, Lee had the high rate of score in forehand-flick and forehand-drive and all two KOR players had the high losing score rate in short.
As stated above, this study provides useful information about one's own self or the opponent's team or player. This study was the first to develope the anaylzing device of table tennis game in the study of sport science and its reliability, validity and efficiency were verified.
