The study is to analyze current Arguments and consider future tasks on entrance examination policy in high school. The focus is on the improvement of the high school entrance examination system. Students, parents and people request an immediate change in the non-equalization policy in high school entrance examination because of the announcement on the new college entrance examination policy by the Ministry of Education. The study analyzes demands between those who adhered to non-equalization and those who changed equalization in the method of administrating high school entrance examinations, and it suggests future tasks on the Entrance Examination Policy in High School. Equalization policy intends to ignore excellence and individual difference in education and equalize education below, while non-equalization intends to reproduce inequality at the high school level and ignore self-esteem. The conclusion of the study is that even though one can choose between equalization and non-equalization, neither will be effective for improving the high school entrance examination system. Rather, the improvement of the high school entrance examination system will be not only reflected in the 2002 year's new college entrance examination policy but will also be reflected in the community condition.
