청소년의 온라인 저작물 불법다운로드 행위에 있어 낮은 자기통제력과 사회학습요인들의 영향 및 상호작용효과 = The Independent and Interaction Effects of Low Self-Control and Social Learning Variables on Youth's Online Digital Piracy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 청소년의 온라인 저작물 불법다운로드 행위를 설명하기 위해 기존 비행연구에서 가장 주목받고 있는 대표적 두 이론인 일반이론과 사회학습이론으로부터 낮은 자기통제력과 사회학습요인들(불법다운로드 경험 친구와의 차별접촉, 불법다운로드에 대한 태도, 차별강화요인 등)의 각각의 독립효과 및 두 이론 요인들 간의 상호작용효과를 알아보고자 했다. 이를 위해 2010년 A시 330명의 남녀중학생들을 조사대상으로, 낮은 자기통제력과 사회학습변인들을 독립변인으로, 불법다운로드 행위를 종속변인으로 하는 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 비록 낮은 자기통제력의 독립효과는 미비했지만 차별접촉, 태도, 차별강화요인들의 영향력은 유의미했고, 그 중에서도 불법다운로드에 대한 태도의 영향력이 가장 높았다. 아울러 비록 낮은 자기통제력과 차별접촉 간의 상호작용효과는 유의미하지 않았지만 낮은 자기통제력과 다른 사회학습요인들 간에는 유의미한 상호작용효과가 발견되어 본 연구의 예측과 두 이론에서의 요인들의 통합 필요성을 어느 정도 지지했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study tries to explain youth's online digital piracy by considering two main general and social learning theories which have been supported in previous studies. This study tests not only independent effects of low self-control and social learning variables such as differential association, attitude toward digital piracy, and differential reinforcement but also interaction effects between low self-control and social learning variables. Using data from 330 male and female middle school students in 2010, results show that differential association, attitude, and differential reinforcement variables have significant independent effects and the effect of attitude toward digital piracy is the strongest, but the effect of low self-control is not significant. In addition, it is found that the interaction effect between low self-control and differential association is not significant, but interaction effects between low self-control and other social learning variables are significant, which supports an integrated hypothesis.
