This paper proposes the improved method of transaction processing for parallelism improvement in a client data base system environment. While locking unit in existing method is a page, concurrency control method uses two phases locking method. [6,12] Mandy clients can't use the same page simultaneously, and so useless waiting time increases. However, the characteristic of this proposed method unlike existing one, enable the transaction approaching different data in the same page to minimize the useless waiting time by permitting pages, and therefore improves the parallelism of system. Also, it shows the algorithm of the proposed transaction processing for parallelism improvement in a client server data base system environment.
