영재학생을 대상으로 한 다차원적 완벽주의 척도의 신뢰도 분석 = An Analysis of the Reliability of the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale for Gifted Students : Application of Generalizability Theory

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 일반화가능도 연구를 수행하여 다차원적 완벽주의 척도를 영재학생에게 적용할 경우 나타나는 오차의 근원을 밝히고, 결정 연구를 통해 일반화가능도 계수를 최적화할 수 있는 측정 조건을 모색함으로써 완벽주의 척도의 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 효율적인 측정 구조를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 과학고등학교 학생 120명과 동일 지역 교육지원청 부설 영재교육원의 교육대상자인 중학생 140명의 자료를 분석하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도에서 문항보다는 하위요인과 관련된 오차가 더 많이 작용하고 있으며, 검사도구의 하위요인과 문항 이외에 다른 오차원 분석이 필요하다. 둘째, 3개의 하위요인과 각각 15개의 문항으로 이루어진 H-MPS의 신뢰도를 고전검사이론을 이용한 Cronbach α 계수로 측정한 결과 .97로 나타나 높은 신뢰도를 보였으나, D연구 수행 결과 일반화가능도 계수는 .6944, 의존도 계수는 .5593으로 나타나 적정 수준의 신뢰도보다 낮게 측정되었다. 검사의 신뢰도를 적정 수준으로 유지하면서 보다 경제적인 검사가 되기 위해서는 하위요인을 8개로 세분화하고 최소한 5개 이상의 문항이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 완벽주의 척도에 대한 신뢰도 분석을 수행할 때 하위요인과 문항을 포함하여 다양한 변인들을 함께 고려할 것과 영재에게 H-MPS를 적용할 경우 하위요인과 측정 문항에 대한 재검토 및 영재용 완벽주의 척도 개발의 필요성을 제언하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to identify, using generalizability theory, origin of errors that occur when H-MPS is applied to gifted students and seek optimal conditions for optimization of generalizability coefficient through D study, therefore strengthen the reliability of perfectionism scale. For this purpose, data was collected from 120 science high school students and 140 gifted middle school students who are currently attending district-affiliated gifted education centers with the following research results being deduced. First, in H-MPS, errors linked to subscales are dominant over errors linked to items, and search for another sources of error other than items or subscales is required. Second, while Cronbach's α of H-MPS is quite high(.97), the result of D study suggested otherwise- G-coefficient of .6944 and phi-coefficient of .5593 which are lower than the satisfactory level. Enhancing the efficiency of the test while maintaining its reliability at an appropriate level required subdivision of subscales into eight parts and a minimum of five or more items. The result of this research proposes to bring more variables, along with current subscales and items, into consideration when implementing the reliability test on perfectionism scale, and to revalidate the subscales and items in its usage on the gifted, and conclusively, development of a perfectionism scale for the gifted.
