      The purpose of this study is to investigates the influence of strategic orientation and intangible resources on innovation and performance of cultural organizations with subject of Korean cultural organizations such as museum andgallery. For the purpose of study, influence of strategic orientation and intangible resources on each innovations firstly with based on theoretical background ofexisting studies was analyzed. Secondly, influence of innovationon organization performance was analyzed. Finally, influence ofstrategic orientation and intangible resources on each organization performance was analyzed.
      This study shows results as below generally. Firstly, competitor orientation resulted as it has significant effect on organizational innovation and technological innovation. However, quality orientation resulted as it has noteffected significantly on organizational innovation and technological innovation. Secondly, even though managerial capabilities and organizational culture resulted as it has significant effect on innovation, but human capital has not related to innovation significantly. Moreover, organizational reputation has effected on technological innovation significantly but has not significantly relatedon organizational innovation. Thirdly, although organizational innovation showed significant effect on economic performance but has not related with social performance significantly. Technological innovation resulted as that it has no significant relation with each economic performance and social performance. Fourthly, competitor orientation resulted as it has no significant relation with social performance and economic performance but quality orientation showed that it has significant effect on both economic performance and social performance. Finally, organizational reputation among intangible resources showed significant influence on both economic performance and social performance.

      본 연구는 국내의 문화 조직(박물관·미술관)을 대상으로 전략 지향과 무형 자원이혁신과 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 기존 연구의 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 첫째, 전략 지향과 무형 자원이 각각 혁신에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 둘째, 혁신이 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 전략 지향과 무형 자원이 각각 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구의 표본은 문화체육관광부에서 발행한 <전국문화기반시설총람, 2012>에서 획득하였다.
      2011년 12월 31일 현재, 박물관 및 미술관 진흥법에 의하여 등록된 박물관·미술관 중 745개를 대상으로 표본으로 선정하였다. 이 중 269개가 회수되었고, 총 200개의 설문지를 대상으로 연구모형을 설계하고 구조방정식모형(structural equation modeling)을 분석기법으로 활용해 연구가설을 실증적으로 검증하였다.
      본 연구는 크게 다음과 같은 결과를 보여준다. 첫째, 경쟁자 지향은 조직 혁신과 기술 혁신에 각각 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 품질 지향은 조직 혁신과 기술 혁신에 각각 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째,경영 역량과 조직 문화는 각각 혁신에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 인적 자본은 혁신에 유의미한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 조직 평판은 기술 혁신에는 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 조직 혁신과는 유의미한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조직 혁신은 경제적 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 사회적 성과와는 유의미한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 기술 혁신은 경제적 성과 및 사회적 성과에 각각 유의미한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 경쟁자 지향은 경제적 성과와 사회적 성과에 각각 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 품질 지향은 경제적 성과와 사회적 성과 모두에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 무형 자원 중 조직 평판은 경제적 성과와 사회적 성과 모두에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인했다.
