This research aims to understand what admissions officers should look for when evaluating student admission documents by analyzing the curriculums of academic and extracurricular activities in specialized high schools. The research shows that students in science high schools take more courses in math and science compared with the ones in regular high schools. Especially, the first year students in science high schools participate in various extracurricular activities related to math and science. On the other hand, foreign language high schools do not relatively concentrate on taking (English) language courses, but they run intensive programs for acquiring practical English. In addition, high schools of arts and physical education are operated in the same way as any other specialized high schools.
