지속 가능한 반려동물 메모리얼파크 조성 요인 중요도 분석 = An Importance Analysis of Factors in the Development of a Sustainable Pet Memorial Park

국문 초록 (Abstract)

반려동물 장묘 수요가 급격히 확대되고 있음에도 관련 인프라 공급은 이에 현저히 미치지 못하고 있으며, 기존 선행 연구들은 법･행정적 현황 분석에 편중되어 지속가능성 관점에서의 체계적 조성 요인 분석은 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 반려동물 메모리얼파크가 단순한 장묘 처리 시설을 넘어 보호자의 심리적 치유와 생태적 순환, 지역사회와의 상생을 아우르는 지속 가능한 복합 추모 공간으로 조성되어야 한다는 문제의식에서 출발하여, 지속 가능성 이론 및 ESG 관점에서 반려동물 메모리얼파크 조성 요인을 시설 요인･사회 요인･환경요인의 3개 대분류, 6개 중분류, 18개 소분류로 체계화하고, 건설･부동산 분야 전문가 46 명을 대상으로 계층화 분석법(AHP) 및 퍼지 계층화분석법(Fuzzy-AHP)을 실시하였다.
연구 결과, 대분류에서는 시설 요인이, 소분류에서는 관리(운영) 전문성･장례비용 적정성･ 입지 접근성 순으로 도출되었다. 관리(운영) 전문성이 1위로 산출된 것은 반려동물 메모리얼 파크가 단순한 물리적 시설 조성에 그치지 않고, 전문적 관리 역량을 갖춘 지속 가능한 이용자 친화적 시설로 개발되어야 함을 나타내는 결과로, 시설의 장기적 지속성과 친환경적 운영 체계 구축이 메모리얼파크 조성의 핵심 전제 조건임을 시사한다. 환경요인이 사회 요인 보다 상회한 점은 ESG･탄소중립 등 지속가능성 가치가 메모리얼파크 조성의 핵심 요인으로 인식 됨을 실증한다.
본 연구는 지속가능성 이론을 토대로 반려동물 메모리얼파크 조성 요인의 중요도를 실증 적으로 규명하였다는 점에서 학술적･정책적 의의를 지닌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Despite the rapid increase in pet funeral demand, related infrastructure supply remains significantly deficient, and existing studies confined to legal and administrative analyses leave construction factor analysis from a sustainability perspective unaddressed. This study categorized pet memorial park construction factors into 3 major classifications, 6 middle classifications, and 18 sub-classifications based on sustainability theory and ESG perspectives, and conducted AHP and Fuzzy-AHP analyses targeting 46 construction and real estate professionals.
Facility factors ranked highest among major classifications, while management and operational expertise, funeral cost appropriateness, and locational accessibility were derived in order among sub-classifications. Management and operational expertise ranking first indicates that pet memorial parks should be developed as sustainable, user-friendly facilities with professional management capabilities and eco-friendly operational systems, suggesting these are essential prerequisites for memorial park development. The finding that environmental factors exceeded social factors demonstrates that ESG and carbon neutrality values are recognized as core factors in pet memorial park development. This study holds academic and policy significance as the first empirical identification of construction factor importance for sustainable pet memorial parks based on sustainability theory. Future research should extend to include memorial park operators and pet owndrs to examine perception differences between suppliers and users.
