예술 : 한국유학사상대계에서 음악사상분야 서술의 문제점과 대안 = The issues and suggestions on description of the Musical Thoughts field in the Series of Korean Confucian Thoughts

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국유학사상韓國儒學思想 가운데 드러나는 음악사상音樂思想을 어떻게 서술해야 할 것인가에 대하여 탐색하는 일종의 제안서이다. 먼저 기존 연구 가운데 부분적이나마 음악사상과 관련하여 이루어진 연구업적에 대해 살핀 후 그 문제점을 검토해 보고, 기존 연구가 전혀 이루어지지 않았던 부분에 대해서는 새로운 서술 범위와 방향, 대안을 모색한다. 이를 위해 유학이 도입된 이후의 한국음악사를 전반적으로 살펴보면서 유학사상의 관점에서 이룩된 여러 음악서술과 문헌사료들을 검토한다. 또 그 가운데 반드시 연구되어야 할 내용들을 찾아내어 한국유학사상 가운데 음악사상 분야 서술을 위한 문제점과 대안을 제시해 볼 것이다.
본 연구는 몇 가지 의미를 갖는다. 첫째, 우리나라에 유학儒學이 유입된 이후 한국음악의 사상적 기반 가운데 큰 비중을 차지하는 유학사상儒學思想이 유학사상 안에서 음악적으로 어떻게 드러나는지 모색할 수 있는 기회이다. 둘째, 여러 종교적, 사상적 배경에서 복합적으로 이룩된 한국음악의 여러 특징 가운데 특별히 유학적 기반이 무엇인지 밝힐 수 있는 기회이다. 셋째 한국유학사상 가운데 음악사상을 추려냄으로써 통시적으로 큰 맥을 더듬어 볼 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper can be considered as a suggestion searching for the proper way of describing the musical thoughts in the Korean Confucian Thoughts. First, investigating relevant works already made and review its issues, then search for the new scope, direction, and alternatives where no study has ever been carried out yet. The history of Korean music since the introduction of the Confucianism in general shall be outlined, by studying musical writings and references drawn up on the basis of the Confucian Thoughts. Also subjects which need to be examined shall be deduced for the description of the issues and alternatives of musical thoughts within the Korean Confucian Thoughts.
This research has a few significant meanings. Since the introduction of Confucian Thoughts to Korea, it had comprised a meaningful portion in the basis of Korean musical thoughts. Firstly, this research shall provide us an opportunity to study how the Confucian Thoughts had realized itself in music. Secondly, it shall also provide us an opportunity to find out the specific Confucian character among the various religious and ideological background of Korean music. Finally, this will also be an opportunity of groping the basic veins of Koran music by sorting musical thoughts out from the Korean Confucian Thoughts.
