Abstract


The purpose of this study is to figure out how good and profitable Performance Art Culture Viewing is to the senior residents at namgu in pohang city, especially who have been using in Pohang Art Center, Hyoza Art Center in order to improve their life's quality abundantly in their leisure and spare time and to provide them a basic factor which is how helpful for their life.
Therefore an object of the research is over 60 year the senior residents at namgu in pohang city who have been using in . And total was 146 persons from February 1, 2009 to April 31, 2009 through personal direct interviews and questionnaires.
The frequency analysis and the intersection(cross) analysis were found out by the method of the measure, SPSS 14.0 Program and the confidence level by Cronbach's A.
The result of this study is as following.
First of all, regarding the ages of watching Performance of Art Culture, 136 persons(93.2%) of the total have been using in Performance Art Culture before 60 year old. Regarding the way how to get the informations about Performance, there are such as TV, radio, a commercial on news papers, or from people.
Regarding the program of viewing, they used to prefer to watch singing and dancing of Korean pop singers and comic chatting and so forth. However their choices for the programs were getting very wide.
Secondly, they have considered that Performance Art Culture is most worthy and valuable in their life. Therefore regarding the value recognition, 70% of all respondents gave positive and spontaneous answers.(about what?) On the other hands, regarding the question for the activity related Performance Art Culture Viewing and their life, the majority were in neutral respondence.
Thirdly, by watching it they could have substitute satisfaction, a motive and a incentive to live. Therefore the civilized life influences of their life in a various way.
According to the result of the study, I just want to present some policy proposal.
first of all, the country have to constantly listen to how its nation's want to live. Especially the country have to recognize that it is all spare time for the rest of their life and besides it is only the problem that they have a lot of spare time.
As I learned above, it is needed to recognize and to realize that there has been an improvement of self esteem and a progress of sense as an independent life - a passively and pessimistically perspective in the past such as winging of a butterfly from out of a chrysalis.
Therefore as avoiding preferential welfare, it is really demanded to support in policy of more detail and high quality service program for the seniors who had established Korean remarkable economy and society development.

본 연구는 60세 이상의 노인으로 포항시 남구에 거주하고 있는 노인들 중에서 포항시문화예술회관, 효자아트홀 및 남구 지역에 있는 소규모 연주홀에서 공연되고 있는 관람장을 이용하시는 분을 중심으로, 공연예술문화라는 노인 여가생활에서 아주 작은 점과 같은 요소가 노인의 삶의 질의 향상에 어떠한 기여를 하며, 또한 여가생활로써 공연예술문화 관람이 얼마만큼의 만족을 제공하는가를 파악하여 노인의 삶의 질 향상을 도모하는 데에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하기 위함이다. 따라서 연구대상은 60세 이상의 노인으로 포항시 남구에 거주하고 남구에 위치해 있는 포항시문화예술회관과 효자아트홀을 이용하시는 노인 남녀 총 146명이며, 2009년 2월 1일에서부터 2009년 4월 31일까지 설문지를 배포하여 자기보고식과 직접면접법을 병행하여 수행하였다.
측정도구는 SPSS 14.0 Program을 이용하여 빈도분석과 교차분석을 하였으며, 신뢰도는 Cronbach's a계수를 구하였다.
연구 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 노인들이 공연예술문화에 대한 공연 관람시기로 60세 이전에 총 응답자 중 136명(93.2%)이 관람 경험을 하였으며, 공연 정보 취득별 방법에서는 대체적으로 노인들에게 있어 공연 정보 취득의 방법이 TV시청, 라디오 청취, 신문광고 혹은 개인적 관계에 의존성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 공연 프로그램에 있어서는 노인들에게 있어 아직은 접근하기 쉽고 격식이 간편한 가수들의 노래와 춤, 만담과 꽁트 등이 어우러진 프로그램을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 노인들의 공연 관람 프로그램에 관한 선택의 폭이 상당히 넓어진 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 노인들에게 있어 공연 예술문화를 관람함에 대하여서는 가치가 있는 일이고 삶에 우선순위에 둘 만큼 삶에 있어서 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 가치 인식에 관하여서는 응답자 중 70%의 응답자가 긍정적이고 적극적인 응답을 한 반면, 공연예술문화 관람과 삶에 관한 질문 즉 활동성에 관련된 질문에서는 중립적 입장을 보이는 응답이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 공연예술문화를 관람함으로써 노인들로 하여금 대리만족효과, 도전의식 고취 및 성취욕구 제공, 삶의 의욕에 관한 동기 유발 효과 등 문화생활이 노인의 삶에 대하여 다양한 형태로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
이상과 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 정책적 제언을 하고자 한다.
국가는 항상 국민이 공유하는 정신적 생활에 대한 목표를 상정하고 이에 부응하기 위한 노력이 있어야 한다. 특히 역할 상실, 무료함 등으로 고통을 받아야 하는 노인들의 입장에서는 생리적인 필수 시간 이외의 시간은 여가일 수밖에 없다는 것을 인식하고, 이들에게 강요된 주체할 수 없이 많은 여가는 그 자체가 하나의 노인문제임을 알아야 할 것이다. 또한 앞서 살펴본 바와 같이 노인들의 삶에 대한 자아 존중감의 향상과 주체적 삶에 대한 의식의 진보 - 과거의 소극적이고 비관적이었던 모습에서 마치 번데기에서 탈피한 나비의 힘찬 날개 짓과 함께 비상하듯 - 가 있었음을 자각하고 인식해야 할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 시혜적 복지 차원에서 탈피하여 고도화된 사회를 일궈낸 노인세대에 대한 보다 전문적이며 고도화된 서비스 프로그램에 대한 정책적 지원이 더욱 요구된다 하겠다.
