종이인형을 모티브로한 화예 조형 표현에 관한 연구 - 동심으로 회귀 - = An Experimental Study of Composition and Articulation in Floral Art with Paper Doll Motif - Reverse to Childhood -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The intention of this work is to awaken personal recollection with humor. An initial research was started with images of paper dolls and it led the researcher to a recollection of paper dolls on which the researcher used to put dresses drawn and cut out. Eventually, the idea reached at putting the faces of researcher's friends on the paper dolls. The researcher created a bench of box shape for dolls to sit on with moss. The dolls were made by drawing the clothes, by putting photo of researcher's friends faces in the face place of dolls, by printing them out on the card board and cutting the shape of whole dolls out. A bunch of orange Transvaal daisy was positioned at the back of each doll and a water pick was positioned at the bottom of each Transvaal daisy to supply water. As a result a floral art work was finished where limited amount of flowers were used so that limited effort to change and replace flowers is needed to keep the work working. It is possible for the buyer to change the faces of the work to their own choice or even to have the seller to provide photo taking service to be used on the work.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 작업은 개인적 추억을 바탕으로 감각적, 정서적 재미를 환기시키는화예작품을 창작하려는 의도로 진행되었다. 종이인형이라는 모티브를 중심으로 이미지 리서치를 하였는데 그 과정에서 과거 연구자가 종이인형을 자르고 직접 그려 입힌 종이옷으로 이끌었고, 친구들의 얼굴을 종이인형으로 만들어 작품으로 발전시키면 재미있는 작업이 될 수 있겠다는생각에 이르렀다.
먼저 오아시스에 이끼를 덮어 인형을 앉힐 직육면체의 벤치를 제작하166 한국화예디자인학 연구 제35집였다. 종이인형을 제작함에 있어 헤어와 옷은 드로잉 처리하였고 얼굴부분은 연구자의 친구들의 얼굴을 촬영하여 삽입하였다. 완성된 인물 이미지를 프린터로 출력하여 완성하였다. 꽃은 종이인형의 귀엽고 발랄한이미지와 잘 어울리도록 오렌지색의 거베라를 사용하였고, 인형뒷면에물 처리를 할 수 있는 워터픽을 부착하여 반영구적으로 재활용 가능하도록 하여 상품으로서 가치를 높였다. 결과적으로 그래픽과 식물 소재가결합되어 디자인적인 매력이 있으면서도 생동감 있는 화예작품이 창작되었다. 상품적 측면으로는 구매자가 스스로 자신 혹은 친구들의 얼굴 이미지를 삽입하여 사용할 수 있게 하거나 판매자가 현장에서 얼굴을 촬영하여 삽입하여 판매할 수도 있을 것이다. 총체적으로 계속 바꾸어 줘야하는 화예 소재를 제한적으로 사용하여 관리의 비용과 노력을 최소화하면서도 전시 효과는 상승시키는 화예 작품이 되었다.
