중학교 학급반장의 역할수행경험에 대한 질적 분석|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학교 학급반장의 역할교육과 리더십 계발에 대한 시사점을 제공하기 위하여 성공적인 반장 역할수행에 작용하는 요인들을 탐색하고 이해하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 충청남도 H군 소재 3개 중학교 3학년 반장 10명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지 및 심층면접을 실시하고 근거 이론적 관점에서 자료를 분석하였다. 자료 분석의 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 합의적 질적 분석 방법을 채택하여 4인의 토론과정과 2인의 감수자의 감수를 통해서 자료를 분석하고 해석하였다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들이 수행하고 있는 반장역할 중 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 것은 부담임교사, 교사의 보조자 역할인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구참여자들이 수행하는 반장역할의 추가적 범주로는 중재자, 봉사자, 지도자, 모범, 상담자 순으로 초등학생 반장역할에서 나타나지 않은 중재자, 지도자, 상담자 역할이 새로운 역할로 부각되었다. 셋째, 참여자들은 역할수행과정에서 통솔 스트레스, 중재 스트레스, 역할과중 스트레스, 역할자아와 개인자아 간의 갈등 등을 겪고 있었다. 넷째, 문제중심 대처 행동, 사회적지지 추구 대처 등 적극적인 대처를 하는 참여자들은 반장 역할수행 경험에 대하여 긍정적으로 평가하였으나, 정서중심 대처나 회피중심 대처를 자주 사용하는 참여자들은 반장 역할수행 경험에 대하여 부정적으로 평가하는 경향이 있었다.
따라서 본 연구의 결과가 상담 실제와 관련하여 시사하는 바는 첫째, 중학생 반장들이 겪고 있는 역할갈등과 스트레스에 대처할 수 있도록 스트레스 대처교육이 필요하다. 둘째, 중학생 반장역할에서 새로이 부각되고 있는 중재자, 상담자, 지도자 등의 역할수행을 위하여 상담기법을 활용한 반장역할교육 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate and understand main factors of successful role-performing experiences of the middle school class-peer-leaders. Participants were 10 middle school class-peer-leaders who were in the 9th grade of middle school. They were asked using open-ended questionnaire and were interviewed in-depth to collect data. And consensual qualitative analysis was performed to take the credibility and the validity of analysis. The analysis was based upon grounded theory.
The results of this study are as follows ; (a) the middle school class-peer-leaders perceived their main roles as vice-teachers, teacher assistant. And they performed their roles as leaders, intermediators, counselors and helpers (b) their roles performing styles were rational persuasion, personal appeal, legitimation, pressure, human resource utilization and model, (c) participants had leading stress, mediation stress, role overload, conflict between role-self and personal-self, (d) the class-peer-leaders that perceived positive ones their roles managed task-oriented coping and social support pursuit coping behaviors, but the class-peer-leaders that perceived their roles negative ones managed emotion-oriented coping and avoid-oriented coping behaviors.
In these results of this study, the further study suggested as (a) the middle school group leaders need to discipline to overcome their role conflict and stress (b) newly mentioned roles as leader, intermediator, counselor which didn’t perceive in the elementary school student leader brought us the importance of the middle school group leaders’ role education.
