아동기 학대경험의 국가 간 비교를 위한 기초연구 = Feasibility of Conducting International Comparison of Child Maltreatment: Using ISPCAN Child Abuse Screening Tool-Retrospective Version (ICAST-R)

The purpose of this study was to introduce ICAST-R (ISPCAN Child Abuse Screening Tool- Retrospective version) which was developed for the purpose of the cross country comparison in childhood maltreatment. Specifically, this study attempted to verify the three constructs of the ICAST-R and their reliability. A total of 525 persons, aged 18~24 participated in this study. The ICAST-R yielded an appropriate model fit indices with the following three factors model: Childhood physical abuse; childhood emotional abuse; and childhood sexual abuse. Scale reliability for each sub-type abuse was respectively .87, 89, and .92. The findings of this study revealed that regardless of the type of maltreatment, most reported experiencing‘1 or 2 times’of maltreatment. Maltreatment occurred mostly between 14 and 17 years of age, and peers were reported as perpetrators as many as parents.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국가 간 비교를 위해 개발된 회고용 아동기 학대 경험의 선별도구(ISPCAN Child Abuse Screening Tool- Retrospective version: ICAST-R)를 소개하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 우리나라 청소년들의 아동기 학대 경험에 관한 응답에서도 동일한 요인구조가 도출되는지 살펴보고, 요인계수를 이용하여 신뢰도(scale reliability)를 보았다. 또한 ICAST-R을 사용하여 아동기 학대 경험을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 우리나라 청소년들의 응답에서도 동일하게 신체학대, 정서학대, 성학대로 구성된 3요인 구조가 도출되었으며 요인 로우 계수는 신체학대가 .87, 정서학대가 .89, 그리고 성학대가 .92로 나왔다. 청소년이 보고한 아동기 학대경험은 세부 유형에 관계없이 ‘1 또는 2회' 경험했다는 응답이 가장 많았고, 시기는 ‘14세~17세’ 사이'가 가장 많았다. 또한 부모 뿐 아니라 또래에 의해 학대를 당했다고 답한 사례가 많았다. 본 연구는 이후 아동기 폭력경험에 관한 국가 간 비교 연구에 서 기초연구로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
