대화를 통한 교사의 유치원 공간 인식 변화 = Teachers Change in the Perception of Classroom Space through Dialogues

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 유치원 교사들이 어린이들에게 좋은 공간이 무엇인지 더욱 깊이 알게 되는 것을 목적 으로 대화를 통해 교사의 공간에 대한 인식의 양상이 어떠한지 대화가 교사의 공간에 대한 인식에 어떤 변화를 주는가를 살펴보았다 이를 위해 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 실천하고 있는 개 유치원의 교사들이 동료 교사 명을 인터뷰하였고 주 회 시간 정도로 회의 만남을 가져 공간에 대한 대화를 나누면서 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다 교사는 교실 공간에 대해 경계짓기의 어려움 공간에 대한 지식 부족에 의한 단순 모방 공간의 상호 조정적 공동구성 공간 탐색과 적응 시간의 필요성에 대한 인식 기억의 장소로서의 공간 해설적 공간의 의미 이해 안전사고에 대한 두려움 결과물 보존에 대한 부담으로 공간을 인식했다 대화를 통해 교사의 공간에 대한 인식은 나 의 공간에서 우리 의 소통의 공간으로 변신 정형화된 공간으로부터 관계맺기를 통한 공동공간의 창조 공간 생산자로서의 어린이 인정 조형물을 통한 공간과 관계 맺기 등으로 변화되 었다 본 연구는 유치원 교사들의 대화가 집단 반영적 자기성찰을 유발함으로써 공간에 대한 인식에 변화를 주고 어린이에게 좋은 공간의 의미를 알게 되는 경험을 제공하였다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined teachers perception of the classroom space and its change through dialogues among teachers to understand what a good space for young children would be. The participants consisted of four classroom teachers who had been working at four Reggio-inspired schools and interviewed with 30 colleagues. In this study, dialogues served as a methods of collecting data and building a teaching community. The results of this study showed five characteristics of changes in teachers perception of the classroom space through dialogues: change from a private space such as mine to a communal space such as ours , change from a prescribed space to broader space through building relationships, acknowledging children as a producer of spaces, and building a relationships to sculpture. This study thus suggests that dialogues among teachers give a chance to self-reflect in group to make a change in teachers perception of classroom space.
