      We regarded the way to build ‘AGiTer’ in north Gyeonggi-Do that Study on the Efficient and Mutual Cooperation between Gyeonggi-Do and the Universities in Gyeonggi–Do(Seongha Kim, 2015) suggested in order to seek better connections and cooperations between Gyeonggi-Do and the Universities in Gyeonggi–Do. This cooperation could be a possible model for the mutual development of local-society, universities and Gyeonggi–Do. That could establish the foundation for social, cultural and economy growth in the local-society. And so, we examined the way to build ‘AGiTer’ that signify this kind of cooperation and connection.
      AGiTer is a newly coined word that refer to three korean words 아, 지 and 터. The word ‘아(我)’, which can be pronounced like ‘A[ɑ:]’ in english, means ‘I’ or ‘me’ or ‘myself’. The word ‘지(知)’, which can represent the sound ‘Gi[ʤɪ]’, means ‘know’. Lastly, the word ‘터’ that can be pronounced like ‘Ter[tə]’ is ‘place’ or ‘site’. So, this term, AGiTer(아지(我知)터), signify metaphorically and literally the place in which I could know who I am, what I’m doing or will do, etc., particularly in connection with someone or something.
      In AGiTer, the students could see more opportunities for communicating with the others, creating the future, sharing knowledges and values and working together. They will be there not to accomplish their goal, but to have work to do, in other words to be in the process of doing something.
      To build successfully AGiTer, Gyeonggi–Do and the universities in north Gyeonggi–Do should organize actively an AGiTer-committee. It will administer AGiTer and also support the participants : students, professors, officers, residents, etc. As they could use the unused space in the each university in north Gyeonggi–Do, it’s not necessary to construct the new space like building, additional facility, etc. And then, AGiTer would be divided into many special-AGiTer, for example furniture-AGiTer, food-AGiTer, beauty-AGiTer, shoe-AGiTer, webcomic-AGiTer, etc.
      When AGiTer in north Gyeonggi–Do is well-established, Gyeonggi–Do should try to extend AGiTer in south Gyeonggi–Do. So that local society could be revitalized in connection with local universities, local government and local society.
