베트남인 학습자 대상 한국어교육 연구 동향 = An Analysis of Korean Language Education Research Trends on Vietnamese Korean Learners

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 베트남인 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국어 교육연구물에 대한 동향을 분석한 후 그 분석 결과를 토대로 베트남 학습자를 위한 한국어교육 연구 및 한국과 베트남의 언어 연구 측면에서 어떤 결과를 얻었는지 정리하고자 한다. 그리고 더 나아가 향후 베트남 학습자의 한국어 교육연구의 방향과 문제점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 삼는다. 이를 위해서 본 연구는 베트남과 한국에서 발표된 베트남 관련 한국어 교육 논문 수의 총 390편을 선정하여 일반 기준(논문유형별, 연도별)과 영역별(한국어 교육일반, 한국어 교육내용, 교수학습, 대조연구, 통·번역)의 두 가지 분류 기준으로 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같이 세 가지 시사점으로 정리한다. 첫째, 베트남 관련 한국어 교육연구가 양적인 성장을 이루었다. 특히 최근 3년 안에(2017년, 2018년, 2019년) 발표한 논문 수는 176편으로 1990년대부터 현재까지 발표된 전체 연구물의 45%를 차지하고 있다. 둘째, 베트남 관련 한국어 교육연구들이 연구 영역이 다양화되었지만 질적으로는 아직도 해결해야 할 문제점이 많이 남아 있다. 분석 대상인 전체 390편에 중에 박사학위 논문은 단 24편에 그쳐 베트남 학습자 관련 한국어 교육연구가 보다 전문적이며, 심도 있는 논의를 할 필요가 있다. 영역별 동향 분석을 통해 보면 베트남 관련 한국어 교육연구의 대부분은 개별어휘나, 한자어 대조 분석연구, 한국어와 베트남어의 음운적 대조를 이룬 연구들이다. 그리고 한국(어)학을 전문으로 교육하고 있는 베트남 내 대학기관의 학생 수가 증가하고 있음에도 불구하고 이들을 위한 체계적인 교육과정이나 전문적인 교재개발에 대한 연구가 보다 미비한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 핵심어 네트워크 분석을 진행함으로써 앞서 연역적인 접근법으로 분석한 결과를 확인하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to analyze the trends of Korean language education research for Vietnamese learners and summarize its results to point out the problems and propose further research directions. For this purpose, this study collected a total of 390 studies published from 1995 to August 2019. Then, researcher classified them into two categories of yearly trends and research types with five genres including General Korean Education Issues, Korean education Content, Korean Language Teaching and Learning, Contrastive Study and Interpreting and Translation. The results showed that studies on Korean language education related to Vietnam has a quantitative growth. In specific, there were 176 papers published during the last 3 years(2017, 2018, 2019), accounting for 45% of the total published works from 1995 to present. However, although the number of research has risen sharply since 2005, many problems still need to be solved. Among 390 studies analyzed, there are only 24 doctoral thesis. This means studies on Korean Language Education related Vietnam needs to be discussed deeply and professionally. Third, most of the Vietnam-related Korean Language Education research mainly focused on the contrast between Sino-Korean and Sino-Vietnamese language, either individual vocabulary or Phonological contrast. The lack of study related to Korean curriculum or Korean textbooks for Vietnamese Korean learners is pointed out as a problem of Korean language education research. Lastly, to confirm that results, we analyzed and made the key-words network.
