정치효능감이 정치 냉소주의와 정치참여에 미치는영향 = The Impact of Political Efficacy on Political Cynicism and Political Participation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between political cynicism and political participation. Additionally, this study was to investigate the moderating effect of internal and external political efficacy. The results found that political cynicism had a negative effect on political participation. And the moderating effects of internal and external political efficacy between political cynicism and political participation were accepted. Especially, internal political efficacy had more influence than external political efficacy. This finding implicates that political participation is an important part of a democracy and it needs to be intensified by means of political efficacy.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 나날이 심화되는 정치에 대한 냉소주의와 젊은 층의 투표율 저조 등의 현실을고려하여 정치 참여를 제고하기 위한 목적을 탐구하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 관련 변수에 대한 선행연구를 기반으로 설문방법을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하여 연구결과를 제시하였다. 연구결과 먼저 정치 냉소주의는 정치 참여에 부정적인 영향을 크게 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 정치 효능감은 내적 및 외적 정치 효능감으로 구분해 볼수 있는데, 정치 냉소주의와 정치 참여에 조절효과를 가지고 있음도 확인하였다. 구체적으로 내적 및 외적 정치 효능감이 높은 집단은 낮은 집단보다 상대적으로 정치 냉소주의의 영향을 덜 받는 것을 확인하였다. 참된 민주주의 사회로 나아감에 있어서 정치 참여는무엇보다 중요하다. 따라서 정치 참여를 높이기 위한 여러 가지 방법을 고안하고 실생활에 적용하도록 노력해야 할 것이다.
